Hello there, my name is Shai and I am a new Avatar Weekly staff writer. It has come to my attention in the past few weeks how important fashion is to some women in second life, and in return, how important it is for us men to be semi fashionable. Having at least some quality to our styles can help us with the chicks a bit more. I mean it could easily ruin our chances with someone if we do not show our good taste.  After all, you only get one chance to make a first impression.

So my goal is to help try and direct you to various locations in Second Life that have stuff  that  keeps us men looking fashionable.  Just remember to always try on the hair as a demo to make sure it fits how you want.

Bryce Designs focus mostly on men’s hair. It has so many styles in short, long, punk, anime, clean, surfer, Goth and so many more. If you ever are looking for hair I would start off here. The hair styles come with about 4 different tones to a pack for around 200L.

MADesigns also has a wide selection of men’s hair.  When you tp in to the landing point there is a directory that will help transport you to various spots, including hair.  There is a huge HUGE selection here. You can also get the hair in one color for 180L or in several texture shades (3 to a pack) for 300L. The styles are very wide range from punk, emo, Goth, biker, businessman, rocker, and the list goes on and on.

Zero Style is classified as Japanese Hair Styles. It has more for women then mean but there are still some really good short hair styles. Some have flexi, some do not, and the styles are of more wavy/messy hair. The hair packs come with three different hair textures to a pack for 300L.

Armidi is online. So it may be worth it to look there first before stopping in world. You will need to make an account at http://shoparmidi.com but it’s worth it. That is because you can also buy not only clothes you like for yourself, but also as a gift for a special lady friend.  They have a few styles in a punk, emo, wavy, or even posh style. It is 4 colors to a pack for around 295L. Feel free to also stop by Armidi to see it in person.

TekuTeku hair has decent hair textures. Yet again there are more female hair styles than men’s but there are some nice decent looks here. It is one hair color a pack for 150L. The styles almost make me think of anime/punk.

Truth focuses on several styles for women but has a few men’s dos as well. The hair is upstairs on one back wall and could be defined as semi punk and messy. When I say few, I mean few, at least in the main teleport. There is a white building outside that has some more for around 225L. There are 4 colors to a pack here as well.

ETD has some men’s hairstyles, but there are several styles for women. There are a few decent styles for men that are short styles. The styles are what I would define as surfer dude and come in a one texture pack for 100L.

I acknowledge that there are many more quality designers out there, but this is what I have found and liked. I know I will be doing another post about other hair places further down the road.
